Project Description :

Engena provided the Screening Request documents that successfully determined the development as non-EIA. An Environmental Report was produced, based upon a diverse series of assessments for the multi-technology proposal including landscape, ecology and highways.

Throughout the project planning a team approach was taken and consideration was given to the requirements upon the adjacent land within our Client’s control.

Our scope of work also included assessments of potential effects upon aviation, telecoms and utilities and from shadow flicker.

The project was approved at local level with the consent notice given in early April 2024.

Notable Achievements :

The first combined technology park in the UK to include a wind turbine, consented in the wind-hostile NPPF policy regime.
