Engena worked with the assessment team to shape the proposed site design through the pre-submission stage of the project. We prepared a Screening Request document and, aided by our experienced approach to site visits, identified further considerations for the landscape and visual impact assessment.
Engena ensured the parameters and requirements of each aspect of the development were considered within the assessments supporting the project.
Engena prepared and submitted the Planning Application supported by an Environmental Report with Design and Access Statement and accompanying Figures, and a separate Planning Statement. Engena also assisted in the preparation of a Planning Performance Agreement with Doncaster Council. Doncaster Council’s Planning Committee granted permission for the project, located in Green Belt, in May 2023.
Engena is continuing to work with Climate ER to discharge planning conditions attached to the consent.
Local consent for a renewable energy development in Green Belt.
Enabled collaboration across the various environmental disciplines to evolve the site design, minimise site impacts and maximise benefits. Particular regard was given to public rights of way where paths used were not necessarily the paths mapped.
